The quality of life can be severely impaired by mental health problems - such as anxiety, depression or compulsions. In addition to personal suffering, there are often impairments in the social and professional environment.

My goal is to reduce your suffering and discomfort, to strengthen your resources and to motivate you to tackle your problems. For this I create a pleasant therapy climate for you and use modern therapeutic practices. 

I offer you psychological support and advice on:

Who is my offer aimed at?

My offer is aimed at almost all age groups. Not only adults can benefit from my offer, but also young people and old people. My counseling services are aimed at individuals and groups, such as couples and families.

A holistic approach

Through my training in clinical psychology at the University of Marburg, I got to know many different behavioral therapy intervention. I also use these approaches together with my clients. 

In addition, I use the large repertoire of other psychotherapeutic schools and currents, such as ACT, Systemic Therapy or Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I also work with a holistic approach, which, in addition to psychological interventions, also includes the topics of sport, sleep, nutrition, breathing, meditation and spirituality.

How do the sessions go with me? Example: Anxiety disorders

Anxiety disorders include panic disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, social phobias or specific phobias (e.g. fear of flying, spider phobia, blood and syringe phobias). Here I have described a rough procedure of a psychological consultation regarding anxiety disorders:

  • Getting to know each other

  • Diagnostics

  • Biographical work and cause research

  • Psychoeducation 

  • Development of interventions, for example:

    • Planning of exposures

    • Cognitive restructuring or reframing

    • Learning skills, e.g. relaxation techniques, Breathwork

  • Building up resources

  • Relapse prevention

  • Final diagnosis
